As well as commercial, portrait and lifestyle photography, I also undertake longer term personal projects on a variety of subjects and a range of shorter photo essays and stories.
This is work that I make as an artist around subjects and stories that really interest me. The work is made with the objective of being exhibited, both physically and online, and then sometimes (if possible) produced in book form. It is also inevitably a place where I can provide potential clients with a flavour of the style and ‘eye’ that I can bring to my commissioned work.
I’m particularly interested in making photographic projects in Norfolk about ordinary people and their lives. I’ve created a few already, People and Places, Ordinary Devotion and Lockdown Fakenham and I’m now working on my latest project, a journey through Norfolk on the A47 which has a working title of The A47 Project. If you’re interested and felt able to, then you could now buy me a tea to help me on my way!
