It’s not a quick snap – it’s a highly bespoke and thought-out representation of a person, arrived at collaboratively by the photographer with the subject.

The fun in portraiture comes when the photographer can sit down with the subject and, starting from a blank canvas, capture collaboratively who that person is. And I love doing this!
