Second Open Portrait Call

Second Open Portrait Call

I had my Second Open Portrait Call in January. Following my first call in November – when I was able to make a number of portraits that I was really pleased with – this second call gave me the opportunity to build this studio-based portrait project further.

So I now have a stash of lovely portraits and I’m currently looking at making a magazine style publication of those I’ve been able to make to date – more on that in due course. I’ve also now put my Third Open Portrait Call in the diary for Saturday 9 March and I’m looking forward to adding further to my stash then. If you’d like to take part, there is an Event on my Facebook page that you can sign up to or you can just drop me a line. And I’d like to say a huge thank you to all my lovely sitters so far!

Here’s a flavour of the images from January:

I’m Keith, married to artist wife Debbie, and based in Fakenham in the lovely county of Norfolk. I absolutely love making photographs – which is sort of lucky because I’m happy to say that it’s my full time job. I established Keith Osborn Photography in 2008 and the whole aim of what I do is to provide creative, unobtrusive and affordable wedding, commercial, lifestyle and portrait photography. I do also take time, however, to undertake personal work – photographs I make of things that specifically interest me. I see this as a place where I can experiment and provide potential clients with a little flavour of the style and ‘eye’ that I can bring to my paid for work. This work can be see on my website NotQuiteFree.
