People and Places Update

People and Places Update

I’ve been out photographing again this week for the ‘People and Places – Images of Fakenham’ project I’m working on with Active Fakenham. I have to say I’m really pleased with the way it’s going.

We are continuing to look for people and situations that I can photograph to showcase Fakenham in all its diversity: eg, a shopkeeper or business owner in the context of their business or shop, a sports club member showing they are part of a team, or a resident by their house of flat. There are countless other situations that would fit the bill too, so don’t be shy!

The plan is to put on an exhibition later in the year and we are also looking at producing a book, a calendar and some postcards of the town, its people and surrounds. We plan to hold an exhibition in the town in August.

So, if you’d like to get involved, please do get in touch.

Here’s one of the images taken recently – Charley Beamis, Postie, Sheldrake Close, Fakenham:

I’m Keith, married to artist wife Debbie, and based in Fakenham in the lovely county of Norfolk. I absolutely love making photographs – which is sort of lucky because I’m happy to say that it’s my full time job. I established Keith Osborn Photography in 2008 and the whole aim of what I do is to provide creative, unobtrusive and affordable wedding, commercial, lifestyle and portrait photography. I do also take time, however, to undertake personal work – photographs I make of things that specifically interest me. I see this as a place where I can experiment and provide potential clients with a little flavour of the style and ‘eye’ that I can bring to my paid for work. This work can be see on my website NotQuiteFree.
