Final Open Portrait Call

Final Open Portrait Call

My fourth and final Open Portrait Call will take place on Saturday 11th May 2019. It’s free and open to anyone over the age of 18. Please register for the day by messaging, emailing or phoning me (details below). It’s not necessary to book a specific appointment time unless you wish to.

My aim is to make a series of studio portraits as a project for my portfolio and possibly then for exhibition. I’m not looking for professional models just people who are willing to have themselves portrayed within the series.

The portrait session should hopefully take around 15/20 minutes and you can dress and present yourself as you wish, although we may need to tweak it a little during the session.

It’s important to understand that the portrait is being made specifically for my series, as a piece of art, so the look of the finished image may be different from how you would normally wish to be photographed.

As a thank you for your involvement, all participants will receive a free high resolution download of their portrait suitable for printing together with an invitation to any exhibition of the work.

All participants will need to be willing to sign a model release form.

I’m Keith, married to artist wife Debbie, and based in Fakenham in the lovely county of Norfolk. I absolutely love making photographs – which is sort of lucky because I’m happy to say that it’s my full time job. I established Keith Osborn Photography in 2008 and the whole aim of what I do is to provide creative, unobtrusive and affordable wedding, commercial, lifestyle and portrait photography. I do also take time, however, to undertake personal work – photographs I make of things that specifically interest me. I see this as a place where I can experiment and provide potential clients with a little flavour of the style and ‘eye’ that I can bring to my paid for work. This work can be see on my website NotQuiteFree.
